When Wally first arrived, I still had a project on the cherry Wolf Pup from back in mid-September. I had all sorts of ideas of what I wanted this project to be…

And it’s finally finished. What is it? It’s my own personal hand towel! I know, can you believe it?

It was another one of those projects that wasn’t inspiring me, and it just sat there clogging up the loom. And I really want to get some Holiday weaving going and need both looms. At least I’ve got myself a nice, personalized hand towel. Sometimes it’s the little things…

The handtowel came out wonderful!! Was there enough yardage for a set? Used it yet? I bet it washed up very very yummy.

Sweet texture and isn’t it nice having something to keep and use that would have been only string if you hadn’t come along with an idea?

Lately I’m obsessed with kitchen towels. Yours is especially nice. I love how it’s a waffle weave.
I purchased 100% linen upholstery fabric in a white and tan stripe to make kitchen towels for my “green” Christmas presents this year. That and reusable shopping bags.

I love the fun you had with different draws and throws in your towel. What a great item!

That’s what I want to make on my loom!!! As soon as I get the scarf (first project) done – it will be hand towels!!!

One of my favorite parts of visiting Vavstuga is checking out the bathroom!
All those hand woven towels just have me drooling.
Now you have me drooling, too.
Okay- I need to weave some towels and washcloths.
Thanks for the inspiration.
