Miss Trouble

Miss Lulu, birthday girl

My little Miss Glamourpuss, she’s always so prim and pretty. She’s always posed for a photograph when the sees the camera come near. When there’s no camera, that’s a whole different story. As mild mannered as she appears, she’s also the guilty one to instigate trouble! She’s always game for demurely walking up to  Dusty, give him a paw-smack across the head, and then dash away, with Dusty in pursuit. Her new favorite shelter spot is under the treadles of my loom, where Dusty isn’t able to pounce in her from above.

Yeah, she’s pretty. And sly. And she’s my little princess.

Not such a good spot to hide if papa is weaving ;-)

Neil used to get Patty into trouble. We would catch Patty digging the dirt out of the palm tree pot and would punish her only to have her do it again later. Then we caught Neil going over to the pot and start digging – whereas Patty would join him in the fun and Neil would walk away just in time for her to get caught digging in the pot. So we punished Neil and no one dug in the plant pots again. Neil was such a typical “big brother” in his treatment of Patty. We, including Neil, miss Patty.

There’s four cats in The Cave and they sure have their own personalities. I love them and can’t imagine not having them, even with all the trouble they cause!

Thankfully, only one of the four seems to be interested in my yarn or thread.

I will never believe that the sweet angel in that photograph would do anything naughty.

She looks like butter wouldn’t melt in her mouth – she’s so innocent. Love the photo with the sunlit leaves in the background. What an artist you are!
